DMCC Expands Its Development Reach Into The Public Sector
DMCC Holdings is one of Toronto’s leading asset management and private equity companies that specializes in development, asset management and consulting in North American markets. It is one of the few companies that has been able to successfully enter into private and public engagements to deliver excellence in the real estate landscape.
DMCC Holdings is pleased to announce that its collaboration with the York Regional Police has entered into a bold new era of fruition, that will benefit over 45,000 residents of the Georgina area and one of the province’s most dynamic police forces. As the Development Manager of the project, DMCC Holdings is responsible for turning the concept into reality by overseeing the land assembly, financing, planning, design and construction; in essence, providing a turnkey solution.
“This relationship has been a significant opportunity to test DMCC’s development capability in the public sector,” said Sunny Matharoo, President and Co-Founder, DMCC Holdings. “We are privileged to build this state of the art Marine Unit for the York Regional Police to better serve the community.”
The York Regional Police Marine Facility is a unique project, located on 57 Lorne Street in Jackson’s Point, Ontario, that was first conceived in 2017. The project has gone through an extensive planning and design phase, and has now entered into its final phase of construction. The facility is poised to become the premier facility for marine policing for the York Regional Police #3 District (Sutton) and is expected to be completed in Spring 2020.
The new marine unit station will serve as a base for the York Regional Police Marine Force and will be home to a variety of marinecraft in the summer and snow vehicles in the winter. The Marine Station will also be home to one of Ontario’s six Underwater Recovery Teams, made up of highly-trained members of the police force who can explore the deep waters of Lake Simcoe.
The York Regional Police collaboration is a proud one for DMCC Holdings, speaking to the credibility of the company and the trust placed in the company’s high standards of care for partners and stakeholders.
